NanoVMs Selected to Deliver Unikernel Technology for Phase 2 of DARPA Program

On July 1st NanoVMs announced it had been selected to work on the Phase II of a DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) program related to unikernels.

The work focuses on solving complex security problems which have important implications for national security and dual use applications from the hyper-converged data center to the tactical edge.

Specifically, the work involves in transitioning legacy software from a pre-virtualized world into unikernel environments and preparing software for the transition into the massively multi-threaded future.

NanoVMs is a privately held company based in SF, CA and is a leader in the research, development, and commercialization of unikernel infrastructure, tooling, and services.

The research reported in this document/presentation was performed in connection with contract number W912CG- 22-C-0029 with the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
